Chicken Alfredo Bake is an easy and delicious 30 minute dinner. Pasta, chicken, alfredo sauce, and 2 cheeses all baked together.

I've lost track of how many times I've made this chicken alfredo bake in recent months. It's so easy to put together and my kids absolutely love it.
I love that it's all things I keep in stock all the time. I always have cooked chicken (usually from a rotisserie chicken) in my freezer and everything else are staples in the pantry or fridge.
It takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish and in that time, I usually throw together a bagged salad kit so we have a full meal.

Ingredients
- Pasta - the recipe calls for penne but you can use any similar sized pasta. I like the penne because the sauce goes inside the pasta.
- Alfredo sauce - use your favorite brand or recipe.
- Chicken - you need cooked chicken for this recipe so I like to use a rotisserie chicken to make this pasta bake even easier.
- Mozzarella cheese - mozzarella melts so well in pasta bakes like this.
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Parmesan cheese - this gets sprinkled on top before baking.

How To Make Chicken Alfredo Bake
- Cook pasta. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
- Combine. In a mixing bowl, combine pasta, alfredo sauce, chicken, 1 cup mozzarella, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Transfer. Transfer the pasta to a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
- Top. Sprinkle with remaining cup of mozzarella and the Parmesan.
- Bake. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
Can You Make It Ahead?
You can prepare the casserole ahead of time and bake when needed.
Just follow all the steps up to baking, let cool, cover and refrigerate until you are ready to bake it.

What To Serve With It?
I like to serve this pasta bake with a Caesar salad kit but any simple salad would go well with it. We also usually do frozen garlic bread that takes just a few minutes to bake up.
I've also been known to do a microwave bag of steamed broccoli to go with it, too.
How Long Is It Good For?
Chicken alfredo bake will be good for up to 3 days. Make sure to store it in an airtight container in the fridge.
You can reheat it in the microwave.
Can You Freeze It?
You can freeze chicken alfredo casserole for up to 3 months. Let it cool completely and then transfer to an airtight container and freeze.
When you are ready to serve it, let it defrost overnight in the fridge and then reheat in the microwave.
