Slow Cooker Chicken Parmesan Tortellini is going to be your new favorite no fuss dinner recipe! Chicken and cheese tortellini in a cheesy pasta sauce, all cooked in the crockpot.

If you love chicken parmesan, I have a really easy way to get all the same flavors in an easy pasta dish! It's also super cheesy and, I don't know about your house, but that's super important to my family.
Chicken slow cooks in pasta sauce until it's easily shredded and then you stir in cheese tortellini and mozzarella. The mozzarella melts and creates a cheesy pasta sauce and the cheese tortellini adds even more cheese, of course. Add some Parmesan on top for the perfect cheesy pasta dish!

Ingredients
- Chicken - I suggest boneless skinless chicken breasts for this recipe. Thighs would be too fatty and cause the sauce to be too thin. If you have frozen chicken, you can add it straight into the slow cooker, but it may require a little bit longer of a cook time.
- Pasta sauce - use your favorite store-bought or homemade pasta sauce. We're adding seasonings so it doesn't have to be a super fancy, flavorful one.
- Chicken broth - I recommend low-sodium because you can always add salt if needed. Or make your own!
- Italian seasoning - if you don't have Italian seasoning, any mix of basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme, and marjoram.
- Garlic powder - you can use fresh garlic if you prefer.
- Cheese tortellini - frozen or fresh. If using fresh, it will cook faster than frozen so keep that in mind.
- Mozzarella - it gets mixed in to make the whole dish ooey goeey and cheesy.
- Parmesan - for sprinkling on top before serving.
