Slow Cooker Firecracker Meatballs are cooked in a delicious sweet and spicy sauce made with buffalo sauce and brown sugar. They are the perfect party snack or easy weeknight dinner!

These are our current obsession in my house. I've made it for a party and for an easy dinner in the last couple weeks. They are meatballs cooked in a delicious sweet and spicy sauce. The sauce gets thick and sticky after cooking and really coats the meatballs.
And they can't be easier to make! They start with frozen meatballs and then you just pour 4 ingredients on top, stir it together, and let them cook in the crockpot for a couple hours.

Ingredients
- Frozen meatballs - beef or turkey, whatever you prefer. You can also use homemade fully cooked meatballs but they made not need to cook as long if they aren't frozen.
- Buffalo sauce - use your favorite brand of buffalo sauce.
- Brown sugar - this adds a sweetness that goes so nicely with the buffalo sauce.
- Soy sauce - adds a deep savory flavor.
- Apple cider vinegar - this adds a little bit of tang.

How To Make Firecracker Meatballs
- Prep. Place meatballs in the slow cooker.
- Combine. Add buffalo sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Stir to combine.
- Cook. Cook on low for 3 - 4 hours or high for 2 - 3 hours.
How Long Are They Good For?
These meatballs will be good for up to 3 days. Make sure to store them in an airtight container in the fridge.
You can reheat them in the microwave.
Can You Freeze Them?
You can freeze these meatballs for up to 3 months. Let them cool completely and then transfer them to an airtight freezer-safe container, like a ziploc bag.
When you are ready to serve them, let them defrost overnight in the fridge and reheat in the microwave.

What To Serve with Firecracker Meatballs
If you are serving these at a party, I would just put the temperature on warm and set toothpicks next to the crockpot.
When I make these for dinner, I serve them with either mashed potatoes or rice to soak up any extra sauce.
