One of my favorite ways to make dinner really easy is to start with frozen meatballs. And then you can make it even easier by cooking them in the crockpot! These Crockpot BBQ Meatballs take about 5 minutes of prep and will make your house smell delicious all day!
These are a lot like the classic grape jelly meatballs that you see at every work potluck but instead of the chili sauce, this recipe calls for a spicy BBQ sauce. The sauce turns out sweet, spicy, and sticky. It coats the meatballs perfectly and is just so delicious.
These are perfect for a party snack or for an easy weeknight dinner!

Ingredients
- Frozen meatballs – use your favorite store-bought or homemade meatballs. No need to thaw them before beginning the recipe!
- Spicy BBQ sauce – I like to use a spicy BBQ sauce for this recipe because the spice balances the sweetness of the grape jelly.
- Grape jelly – just regular ol’ grape jelly, not any of the fancy jams.

How To Make Crockpot BBQ Meatballs
- Combine. Add meatballs, BBQ sauce, and grape jelly to slow cooker. Stir to combine.
- Cook. Cook on high for 2 ½ – 3 hours, until meatballs are heated through and sauce has thickened slightly and coats the meatballs.
How Long Are They Good For?
BBQ Meatballs are good for up to 3 days. Make sure to store them in an airtight container in the fridge.
You can reheat them in the microwave or even put them back into the slow cooker.

Can You Freeze Them?
You can freeze BBQ meatballs for up to 3 months. Let them cool completely and then transfer them to an airtight container.
When you are ready to serve them, let them defrost overnight in the fridge and then warm them in the microwave or in the slow cooker.
What To Serve With It
If you are serving these as a party appetizer, just put the crockpot on warm and set some toothpicks next to it. People can grab them as they want.
If you are using them as dinner, we like them with mashed potatoes or rice to soak up all that delicious sauce. You could also put them in slider buns for BBQ meatball sliders or sub buns for meatball subs. You really can’t go wrong with any way you choose to serve them!
