Tortellini Caesar Salad is a twist on the classic Caesar salad. Cheese tortellini, lettuce, tomatoes, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing all tossed together to make the perfect summer side dish for all your BBQs.

We're having a pasta salad summer at my house. I feel like I'm making pasta salad at least 4 nights a week. They are just so easy to make and everyone loves them.
This Tortellini Caesar Salad is one of the easiest pasta salads I make but it's just so delicious. It needs just 6 ingredients and since tortellini cooks so quickly, I can have it done in less than 15 minutes!
This one is also very versatile. You can add more lettuce if you want more of a salad salad or less lettuce if you want to keep it a pasta salad.

Ingredients
- Cheese tortellini - you can use the frozen tortellini or the fresh. Just make sure to look at the cooking time on the package.
- Romaine lettuce - you can adjust the amount of romaine depending on whether you want this to be more of a pasta salad or a salad salad.
- Cherry tomatoes - you can use another variety but if it's a bigger tomato, I would squeeze out the seeds and juice and just chop the flesh.
- Croutons - I use Caesar croutons for this recipe but use what you have!
- Parmesan cheese - I like to use the shaved Parmesan in this recipe so you get big pieces but you can use shredded or grated if you prefer.
- Caesar dressing - use your favorite store-bought Caesar dressing or homemade recipe.

How To Make Tortellini Caesar Salad
- Cook tortellini. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
- Combine. To the mixing bowl, add lettuce, tomatoes, croutons, and Parmesan cheese.
- Finish. Pour dressing over top of the ingredients and toss to coat.
How Long Is It Good For?
Tortellini Caesar Salad will be good for up to 3 days. Make sure to store it in an airtight container in the fridge to keep it as fresh as possible.
Keep in mind that the lettuce will wilt and the croutons will soften the longer it sits. I like to keep extra croutons of hand to add to the leftovers.
Can You Make It Ahead?
You can kind of make this pasta salad ahead. I would leave out the lettuce and croutons until right before serving.
What To Serve With It?
If you want to turn this pasta salad into a full meal, add in some grilled or rotisserie chicken. Or whatever your go to protein is!
