Cheeseburger Bowls are a quick, easy, and delicious dinner that you can have on the table in less than 20 minutes! Seasoned ground beef, cheese, lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, and pickles all drizzled with a homemade buger sauce.

These cheeseburger bowls have become an almost weekly dinner in my house lately. They are so easy to make and such a crowd pleaser.
These bowls have everything you love about a burger, just in a bowl instead of a bun. They have a base of lettuce and that's topped with seasoned ground beef, cheese, all your favorite burger toppings, and an easy homemade burger sauce.
You can have these easy bowls on the table in less than 30 minutes! I like to prep all the components ahead of time and keep them in the fridge to make it even quicker.

Ingredients
- Mayo - this is the base of the burger sauce. It makes for a really creamy sauce.
- Ketchup - this adds the color that you need for burger sauce as well as flavor and sweetness.
- Pickle relish - make sure it is dill pickle relish and not the sweet relish.
- White vinegar - this adds that signature tang that a burger sauce needs.
- Sugar - just a little bit for a hint of sweetness.
- Black pepper - black pepper is key to the perfect burger sauce. You can adjust the amount based on your preference.
- Ground beef - you can use ground turkey or chicken if you prefer.
- Garlic powder and onion powder - these are to season the ground beef.
- Lettuce - use your favorite kind of lettuce. Spring mix, romaine, iceberg, whatever you like!
- Tomatoes - I like to use grape or cherry tomatoes and slice them in half or quarters.
- Cheddar cheese - you can do shredded or cubes of cheddar cheese.
- Pickles - I suggest quartering them to try to keep everything in the bowl about the same size.
- Red onion - pickled red onion also works really well in this.

How To Make Cheeseburger Bowls
- Make burger sauce. In a small mixing bowl, combine mayo, ketchup, pickle relish, white vinegar, sugar, and black pepper.
- Chill. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
- Cook ground beef. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef with seasonings until no pink remains.
- Assemble bowls. Put lettuce in the bottom of bowls. Top with cooked ground beef, cheddar cheese, red onion, tomatoes, and pickles. Drizzle burger sauce over top.
Can You Make It Ahead?
You can prep every part of this recipe, which makes it great for meal prepping lunches or easy dinners.
The burger sauce will be fine in the fridge for several weeks as long as it's in an airtight container. I store mine in these airtight jars.
The ground beef is good for up to 3 days if stored in an airtight container. Reheat it in the microwave before assembling your cheeseburger bowls.
All the toppings can be sliced or diced and stored in airtight containers in the fridge for up to a week.
